Tampines food centre reopens after revamp
After 2 month renovation, The Tampines Round Market and Food Centre resumed its business in 8 July 2019.
Round market being the major landmark in Tampines, has been around since 1983 and well known for many popular food stalls, Ming Yun Famour Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodles, Xing Ji Wanton Mee, Teo Kee Mushroom Minced Pork Noodle, just to name a few. Many of the hawkers at the market have been operating their stalls for more than 3 decades.
The revamp has widened its walkaway, improved the ventilation and made child seats available. You can also expect to have more wheelchair-friendly spaces and refurbished toilets.
